Some things you should know

Hi!
So I never get on here anymore. Well I guess sometimes I check up on here, but I finally did submit something today. It's a novel I'm hoping on finishing eventually. It's called Miss Taken, so far. I don't think I'll stick to that title unless people like it.
I didn't have a story for it at all. I just wrote it for a class last year and didn't have anywhere to go with it. I fell in love with the beginning and wanted to continue...I finally thought of where I think I'm going with it. I hope I can stick to it!
My senior year of high school is halfway over. That is scary. Obviously, I've been busy doing stuff with school. I don't particularly love my schedule this semester, but I guess I shouldn't complain. *sigh*
My mom made fun of me the other day because this guy that works at a store we go to is really cute and seems very nice. I don't know him and I've never spoken to him, but she knows I have a crush on him. Well, he looked at me as he walked by and smiled and I smiled back. . . my face was beat red. Haha. I wish I wasn't so shy. Oh well! <3
Hope you all are doing well and could maybe check out my story! I'd love any comments or critiques!

Well . . marching band is taking up a ton of my time and I will have one day off for the next three weeks. So I won't be getting on here like at all. I am working on a story as a birthday present, which isn't really til October, but I'm writing it anyways. I'm trying to find time to post some of my works, and also work more on my 100 themes list. I have quite a few finished.
I have a lot of personal stuff going on as well, so sorry if I don't reply to anything for a while. I will be back though.

O Brother, Where Art Thou?

Yes I love this soundtrack like crazy. "I am a man of constant sorrow." And do my mother and I sing and dance to it? Of course! I love my mom.
I'd like to wish everyone and all the father's a Happy Father's Day!
Is anyone doing anything special? I'm not.. but I did wish him happy father's day.
I need books to read. If anyone has suggestions let me know!
I have a bunch of Ted Dekker books, but I am not in the mood for them. I almost read some more Stephen King but I am in a romantic novel mood O.o soo any ideas along those lines would be nice too
Marching band starts up tomorrow. For freshman and BLT (band leadership team). I am on the blt as co-clarinet section leader with my friend. We have hard work for a hard, hot season ahead of us. Wish us luck!

Summer and steel drums

I have hardly had time to update. I'm not so busy, but I just have a bunch of other things I have been doing. We did finally go to Washington DC for our marching band. It was pretty fun. It just seemed like more work than fun. Oh well.
There was a guy playing steel drums outside of the national archives. He was so cool, but while we were in line outside (an hour wait at least..and we were late) the cops came and started telling him he couldn't play there. And they were arguing, and we were all saying "We like him! Don't make him go.. " and I heard him say to another kid passing by "Yeah man I thought we were in America too."
It was upsetting but kinda cool to see in a way. It's something you would think only happens in movies until you really experience it lol.
So I am trying to write more. I promise. I want to. I wish I could get a writing prompt book, but I can't seem to find one......
OOH I got to go to Barnes and Noble for the first time. It was AMAZING. But we could only stay like 10 minutes.... no fair.

And I got sims 3 haha. Yep, I'm still a dork. But I love it
